DEFORMULATION OF ANTIFOULING PAINT

The aim of these analyzes is to know as much as possible the composition of these hard matrix antifouling paints.
The analysis by GCMS will make it possible to determine the concentration of the volatile organic compounds (solvents, biocides, adjuvants, etc ...).
The structural analysis by Pyrolysis / GCMS will focus on the identification of the polymer matrix (s) and organic adjuvants.
We can compare between each sample the relative proportions of each matrix found (Acrylic, rosin, etc ...).
The thermal analysis by TGA will make it possible to know the contents of "volatile organic" fraction (residual solvent ...), "polymeric" fraction and "residual charge" fraction.
The ICP / OES analysis proposes to identify and quantify the chemical elements (copper, zinc, calcium, etc.) present in these paints.
