Deformulation, also called reverse engineering or in English "reverse engineering" consists in the separation , identification and quantification of the ingredients present in a formulation.

Our client, suspecting his competitor of copying it, wished to carry out a formulation comparison. We therefore analyzed its product and the competitor's product in order to highlight differences / similarities.

Thanks to the complete study of the 2 products, the Polymex laboratory has succeeded in highlighting and quantifying the products present, namely:
- Sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS [151-21-3]
- Cocamidopropyl betaine [61789-40-0]
- Cocamide diethanolamine [68603-42-9]
- Ethanol [64-17-5]
- Limonene [138-86-3] / [5989-27-5] / [5989-54-8]
