PROTOCOL FOR CROSSLINKING AND FINAL HARDNESS ON POLYESTER COMPOSITES

As a result of final mechanical properties that are not acceptable on the composite material, two main failure search axes have been undertaken:
- Verification of the crosslinking of the resin (determination of residual free styrene and analysis of the oligomeric extractables);
- Load and fiber analysis (fiber content verification and surface analysis).
